It was not what we have expected. Not worth the price unfortunately
Super delicious food and insights into the life of a blind person were free.
A great experience. With a lot of input from the fact that the host and cook is blind himself. Great taste and great entertainment with plenty of opportunity to ask questions. We recommend.
Not everyday experience. Chef and owner definitely worth a visit
An indescribable experience that should be had!
Really good experience! Everything was fine all around. The owner / cook led through the evening in a very personable manner, so that the time passed too quickly. The food was creative and delicious, and minor specialties such as vegetarian and lactose-free food weren't a problem either. Great praise for the fact that a visually impaired / blind person can achieve a lot. A very good choice if someone wants to give something interesting away or try it out for themselves.
We had a very nice evening. The openness to the subject of blindness and the cheerful manner of the owner Marcel remind you to always focus on the positive and that you can walk an impressive life despite restrictions. It is important to Marcel that his guests feel comfortable. We especially liked the dessert. There is also the option of opting for a vegetarian menu. Thank you for this wonderful experience and all the best for your future. 🍀
A very special experience. In addition very tasty food. Marcel goes to great lengths to give sighted people an insight into the world of blind people. The whole thing with a very likeable portion of humor. If you get involved, you will have a unique culinary experience.
Mega great experience! Everyone should have done it.
Very interesting. Impressive and fun you have to experience very nice boss who is blind himself and also does everything himself from service to cooking. The food was delicious
A really extraordinary experience. What was particularly great: the owner is very open and answers all questions about blindness. That changes the perspective!
Super great experience! We had a really great evening. The cook and owner is blind and serves and cooks for you. The menu was delicious. Thanks for the mega experience!
The bottom line: It was a really great and interesting experience. The location was more of a borderline experience. Run down inside and out, in need of major renovation, musty smell. The blind cook, who also served and led through the "dark" evening, with the description of his fate and the portrayal of a life as a blind man, is the main argument for the location. It made me think too. The food was tasty. Especially the dessert :-) When his new (not yet built) location is finished, we will definitely come back. PS: drinks go extra, except for the welcome drink. So take enough money with you!
The location is really not nice to look at from the outside and the inside. The food was fine but absolutely nothing special. The blind cook who also serves is the real argument to come here because he leads the evening very nicely and answers all questions about blindness.
The experience was very interesting and I would have liked to taste really good fresh ingredients. The restaurant is pretty run down and doesn't smell good. , This is really a shame because you could make a lot of the idea. What you can learn from the host is very interesting. In fact, you are concerned with what it means to be blind. It makes you very thoughtful!
Delicious food, polite staff. Fun and safe. An unforgettable experience guaranteed.
The experience itself was very exciting, the food was not good, expected more. The location leaves a lot to be desired, would have to be renovated, maybe good, that you did not see the room where we ate. Nevertheless hats off in front of the person.
Great experience. We recommend. Absolutely authentic, very interesting and extremely personal. and in addition very delicious.
It was a very interesting evening. The host was very friendly and open, the food was delicious. A very exciting experience, which we would recommend, but you should not expect a romantic dinner.
That was a very exciting food experience. You are actually led into a pitch-dark room, even the clock with luminous numbers must be removed. But that is justified, because otherwise the whole experience suffers. The food is cooked by the blind and brought to the table. It is already impressive how safe he moves through the room. One can also ask him everything, it is openly answered. If you want to enjoy with your other senses, out of sight, our recommendation gets it. Thank you Marcel 🤗
Zja what should one write about it .... For groups in any case unsuitable !!! A comedy self-presentation show in a run-down establishment with moderate food and drinks without ice cream. So much for that. The dinner we got over Groupon you at the same time a girlfriend for a birthday gift (embarrassing). It really was an evening of the senses, for all the senses. A rundown dance hall with suspended walls so that the extent of the decay may not be so obvious, and the guests get used to the "darkness"! Champagne reception? Where was a champagne reception? A loveless counter with not very motivated staff (2 including Marcel the host) and a few bottles of the cheapest. Jack Daniels, Bacardi Ramazotti everything there ONLY no ice cubes. Is clear. Well, after we went down into the "dark cellar", actually I thought to myself that you can not sink lower, we were placed. Initially, a bit of panic overcame me on the unfamiliar situation and the darkness in the perception of the other participants and sounds that sound naturally much more intense in the dark. But the above impression of the location gave me the feeling to sit in a rocked and unkempt room smells unpleasant. We as a GROUP were completely out of place there. If you think you can dine in a restaurant in a convivial atmosphere, this is out of place. We were often admonished and shown off by cowardly participants who opened their mouths in the darkness. It is expected to sit still and listen to the fate of Marcel and his life. A monologue of boredom paired with stories in which he makes fun of other people. As well as about his guests there. We should ask questions, questions were asked and with rehearsed answers that should be funny self-loving countered so that yes all laugh. Like a bad comedy event. And while Marcel was still talking about his life and his ex and his family, which was not interesting at all, we were not just busy finding out what was on our plate, but also not stopping it and leaving the event. I think the mentioned annoyance with the city and that there are no more Groupon vouchers more has its legitimate reasons. Eat: The food was, except for the blob of delicious soup, not good. The money and the journey we could have saved us. I do not recommend it.
Very nice atmosphere and experience!
Expect a interesting and different dining experience here. Good food, friendly people and great atmosphere.
If your expecting a nice dinner with your friends, which happens to be additionally interesting because it's in the dark, you will be disappointed. At Realblind you are eating under a constant input of topics you didn't want to know given by the chef. You will hardly have the chance to enjoy the company you brought along. Also the location is cold, noise and suffers a lack of ambience, which you can feel and hear. At least the food was okay.
